Physical resources and remaining boundaries

The one-percent minima remain [13, 14] nominally and [16, 17] under the original fixed-unknown asymmetric parent. Failed thirteen-and sixteen-copy candidate searches are not lower bounds. A separate finite-policy polynomial certificate and continuous lower dynamic programme are retained in the technical supplement; their conservative costs do not settle these endpoints. At the selected four-copy tolerances, the proved copy separation is exact; it must not be reported as a one-percent separation. For repeated per-copy phase pulses a timing model can be T = B(τ + |θ|/Ωp); a separately assumed once-set held actuator instead gives T = Bτ + |θ|/Ωs. The two physical parents cannot exchange their costs. Adaptive switching and feedback waits require their own path-dependent model. Append-only archives are distinct from causal controller state; source stock, ready randomness, trusted calibration, references, precision and actual latency remain charged. No energy, thermodynamic or hardware optimum follows from copy count. Calibration controls deployment only with a justified stability contract; terminal effects do not identify a complete residual quantum instrument. The source– readout distinction established here is operational and relative to admitted interventions. Unrestricted operational surrogates, readable preparation records, collective access or changed stock can alter the task; these results do not select a unique ontology or constitute a consciousness criterion.
