What the source model fixes

Conditional on RS2, the source action fixes the following:

  1. the tensor form and numerical coefficients of Πμν\Pi_{\mu\nu}, (37);

  2. the sign of the high-density correction for a positive-tension brane;

  3. the ρ2\rho^2 and a−4a^{-4} scalings in the homogeneous sector;

  4. the massless graviton pole plus a positive KK continuum in linear RS2;

  5. the leading 1/r31/r^3 potential correction and the ratio of the two metric potentials;

  6. the cross-regime relation (85);

  7. covariant conservation of the total projected response.

Everything not fixed , the choice of RS2 itself, the value of ℓ\ell, the bulk state and μ\mu, the boundary condition, possible non-minimal operators, and the ultraviolet completion , is collected with the corresponding failure modes in Section 15. The cross-regime relation removes ℓ\ell from one comparison; it does not remove the physical assumptions defining the source model.
