11. The temporal explanation
An experience of succession is an actual interpreted relation within the historically formed person. Retained predecessor, live input and anticipated continuation play different roles. Their joint uptake can constitute an ordered transition without making the source events simultaneous, waiting for the sequence to end or supplying an external observer.
Presentness, continuity, duration and felt pace belong within the complete enacted construction. Distinguishable notes and nested events can occur in one continuing activity without implying isolated experiential packets or multiplying subjects. Uptake can be immediate and implicit. Later recall is optional, and losing it does not erase an occurrence already enacted.
The strongest result is constructive sufficiency for this specified temporal organization under its constitutive premises. Information constraints, finite physical components and computational consequences support that result. Constitutive invariance applies to complete qualifying enactments; the partial temporal and pace models still need empirical identification and quantitative validation. The rival proposing an additional moving present must supply a distinct law, independent warrant or a different constitution. The added actualizer performs no required step within the present account.
Physical intervals, causal order and change remain real. Whether physical time is fundamental or emergent is a separate question. The claim concerns the explanatory need for an extra flow: the temporal experience constructed here does not require one under the stated framework.
The following appendices preserve the physical clock comparison, algebraic checks, evidence audit, computational specification and full references behind the argument. The whole-field article develops how incorporated contributions belong together; constituted agency follows the operative use of acquired interpretations; the block-universe treatment relates locally enacted temporality to complete physical histories.
